‘ Korea ' s Strategic Mobile Solution Directory book ' Publication
Dear partners & customers, my name is Chong-Sik, Kim, the chairman of Korea Wireless Internet Solution Association (KWISA)
After one year of preparations by the association, I am very happy to announce the publication of ‘ Korea ' s Strategic Mobile Solution Directory Handbook ' . Established in 2003, KWISA is a non-profit organization affiliated to Ministry of Information and Communication with main focus on wireless internet industry development activities including research and policy proposition, wireless internet expert training, wireless internet contents and solution commercialization support, international standardization of wireless internet solutions, and overseas expansion.
Active members of the association include wireless communication operators such as SK Telecom, device manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics, and other mobile solution businesses that operate in conjunction directly or indirectly with these major companies. The association currently focuses on development of various business sectors in order to expand business relations between domestic mobile enterprises and related overseas businesses. This directory book was produced as one of the outcomes of these activities.
The directory was produced with an objective for businesses overseas, who are interested in mobiles solutions in Korea , to easily understand various solutions applied to current Korean mobile industry and expand their market through mutual technology interchange.
Internationally, Korea market tends to possess characteristics to act as a ‘testing lab' for forecasting potentials for commercialization of experimental technologies in mobile industry using 3G and 4G networks. For this reason, information regarding mobile solutions that are already commercialized or currently at an experimental stage will be a definite asset to mobile businesses around the world.
From this perspective, the directory provides generalized summary of mobile industry in Korea and consists of introductions to various mobile solutions including what the functionalities are and what it means to the mobile industry. This information is offered as a consideration for businesses overseas to clearly understand mobile industry in Korea and its underlying technologies, hoping to build business relations with mobile solution providers in Korea.
Businesses overseas will be able to access the directory book through mobile exhibitions and conventions held around the world or through public buildings located in Korea . The contents of the directory will also be available through our website for businesses overseas to easily access information regarding wireless internet solutions and technologies in Korea.

For this reason, this directory book was published in effort to act as a window for overseas corporations to access the finest business partners in Korea . We hope to assist businesses overseas, who are interested in mobile industry and solutions in Korea , to provide increased accessibilities to such information with this directory book. |
